FRESHLY DONE MICROBLADING ON THE DAY OF FIRST TREATMENT

FRESHLY DONE MICROBLADING ON THE DAY OF FIRST TREATMENT

There are 4 different options for Permanent Makeup that I offer. Microblading, Blade and Shade, Ombre Brows and The Ultimate Combination Brows. I’m here to tell you the difference. You’re welcome!

Microblading is a technique used to create natural, realistic hair stroke lines to mimic hair. This technique is good for if you want a natural enhancement or have patchiness, lack of natural brow hair or want a fabulous and realistic looking new shape. Just a few reasons to have Microblading. Thin blades are used to implant pigment into the skin, trust me, it’s not as scary as it sounds! 90% of clients claim the feeling is “nowhere near as bad as I expected!” or it “just feels like a scratchy tickle”. Microblading is suitable for certain skin types, oilier skin will still hold pigment, but it will heal slightly blurrier than usual. It’s a fabulous technique that creates beautiful, fluffy brows.

Blade and Shade brows. Take Microblading and add a subtle dash of glam. Hair strokes are added, the same as Microblading, then, manual shading is added to give another dimension to your brow! Manual shading is created using a manual pen tool with; instead of a blade insert, a group of needles, used to create tiny dots which in turn makes a powdered makeup effect. It is a subtle shading effect that creates depth in the brow and gives it a little bit of extra definition. Blade and Shade brows are good for oilier skin types as the shading holds better in the skin. They’re for people looking for a more defined look but also keeping them nice and fluffy. If you have sparse natural hair, but the hair you have is coarse and thick, shading helps to blends in the new hair strokes to your natural brow hair, it always looks a lot more effective!

If you love the full makeup look, Ombre Brows are for you. This technique is created using a machine pen instead of a manual pen tool. Don’t worry, I know what you’re thinking. You’ve seen some pretty bad “tattooed” brows in the past. Fear not! Techniques have come a long way since then, also pigment blends. The pigment brand I use (PermaBlend) is one of the best on the market. The vast choice of colours they provide will ensure a close to perfect match. The pigment will not turn “blue” or “green” over time like older pigments. Ombre Brows are created with a soft gradient effect in mind, keeping the front of the brow soft and subtle, tracking back to a bold and sharp tail end. This technique is definitely for those who want to banish the brow pencil and have a fabulous “makeup” looking brows 24/7. Ombre Brows are suitable for ALL skin types and hold extremely well in the skin. This is due to the fact the pigment is implanted slightly deeper than Microblading or Blade and Shade. Colour boosts (top up) aren’t needed for 2-3 years dependant on various factors. Amazing value for money if you ask me!

Now. The Ultimate Combination Brow is the best of both worlds. It’s a combination of Ombre Brows and Microblading, again, keeping the fronts very soft and subtle but with added hair strokes to give it an element of fluffiness. This created the illusion of a full, bold brow with hair strokes at the front. You literally won’t have to touch your brows with makeup again! Fabulous!

We can always have a really good chat about what you want and we can always start at with Microblading and work our way up from there. Tailor made brows, just for you.
